Dear Redmond School District Community,

I feel incredibly lucky to be part of the Redmond School District and to serve alongside such dedicated staff, engaged families, and a supportive community. Since joining the district in July 2020, I have been continually inspired by the commitment I see each day to ensuring every student has the opportunity to succeed.

With more than 25 years in public education, I have had the privilege of serving in a variety of roles, including high school assistant principal, middle school principal, district school improvement director, and superintendent in three Oregon school districts. Each of these experiences has shaped my belief in the power of strong schools, dedicated educators, and connected communities.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in secondary education from Western Oregon State College, a master’s degree in geography from the University of Oregon, and a doctorate in educational leadership from George Fox University. These experiences have helped prepare me to lead with a focus on continuous improvement, student-centered decision-making, and long-term success for our district.

Our work is grounded in a simple but powerful belief: every student deserves access to a high-quality education, strong relationships, and meaningful opportunities that prepare them for the future. Achieving that requires us to listen carefully, collaborate openly, and make thoughtful decisions that always put students first.

I am proud of the progress we have made together and excited about the work ahead. By continuing to build strong partnerships and focusing on what matters most, we can ensure that every student in Redmond feels supported, challenged, and prepared for success in school and beyond.
