Our mission is to support student achievement by providing expert, transparent stewardship of District Resources.

The Fiscal Services team is responsible for the following: Financial Reporting, Budgeting, Grant Accounting, Purchasing Compliance, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll Processing.  

Redmond School District strives to be a  trustworthy and transparent steward of the taxpayer’s investment in education.   • January 9, 2026 – Estimate of 2026-27 Enrollment & Local Revenues submitted to Oregon Department of Education

    February 18, 2026 – Budget Committee Work Session – Long Range Financial Plan & 2026-27 Budget – 5:30 PM, District Office

    April 16, 2026 – Publish Notice of Budget Meeting in The Bulletin or The Redmond Spokesman and on RSD Website

    April 29, 2026 – First Budget Committee Meeting – 5:30PM, District Office, Budget Message Presented

    May 13, 2026 – Second Budget Committee Meeting – 5:30 PM, District Office

    June 10, 2026 – Notice of Hearing and Budget Summary appears in The Bulletin or The Redmond Spokesman

    June 24, 2026 – Budget Hearing, School Board Adopts Budget, Makes Appropriations and Categorizes Taxes to be Levied – 5:30 PM, District Office

    July 15, 2026 – Certify Levy and File with County Assessor

Annual Comprehensive Financial Reports

The Fiscal Services Department prepares monthly financial reports that are presented to the Board of Directors in the consent agenda during monthly Board meetings. The reports are reviewed in detail by the Finance Committee during the Committee’s monthly meeting. The committee is an advisory committee assembled by the Superintendent and the Director of Fiscal Services, made up of District staff as well as Board and Community members.
