Mission

Redmond School District is a medium-sized district with 13 schools and more than 7,200 students.

Our mission is providing a supportive, inclusive, empowering and academically rich learning environment that inspires and engages students, staff, and community.

District & School report cards. The Oregon Department of Education produces yearly report cards for schools and districts, providing educators with an opportunity to communicate directly with parents and community members about how local schools are performing.

Vision

Thriving Students. Engaged Community. Ready Graduates. Located entirely within historic Deschutes County, the Redmond School District serves students from Redmond, Alfalfa, Crooked River Ranch, Eagle Crest, Terrebonne and Tumalo. Nestled in the “hub” of Central Oregon, the Redmond area boasts an average of 320 days of sunshine a year and plays host to excellent fly fishing, skiing, mountain biking and a range of additional recreational activities within a short distance. The community continues to transform itself with new restaurants, brewpubs, boutiques, and lodging, combined with dynamic outdoor recreation activities, a bustling farmers market in the summer, and outdoor ice skating in winter.
