Shining a Light in Our Schools

Thank you for taking the time to recognize an outstanding RSD staff member for the RSD Staff Spotlight! Your nomination will be reviewed by our selection committee.

Please remember that if your nominee is not selected for this month, their nomination will roll over to the following month and continue to be considered. You do not need to submit the same individual more than once in a school year.

  • RSD Spotlight is a way to recognize and celebrate the dedication and hard work of Redmond School District staff. Each month, up to three exceptional individuals may be selected from nominations submitted by students, parents, guardians, staff, and community members.

  • Any Redmond School District employee can be nominated! Iincluding teachers, bus drivers, nutrition staff, custodians, office assistants, counselors, nurses, and administrators. Honorees are eligible for recognition once every two years.

    (Selection committee members are not eligible for nomination.)

  • To nominate a deserving RSD staff member for the RSD Spotlight, simply fill out the form above. You’ll be asked to provide the nominee’s name, role, and work location, as well as explain why you believe they deserve recognition. Did someone make a meaningful difference for a student? Or has their ongoing dedication and hard work stood out? Here’s your chance to help them shine!

    If your nominee isn’t selected in a given month, no problem! Their nomination will automatically roll over for future consideration.

  • When an RSD Spotlight honoree is chosen, their recognition will be shared across the district newsletter, website, and social media platforms to celebrate their outstanding contributions.
