Philosophy

The Redmond School District adheres to the philosophy that our comprehensive school counseling program is an essential part of the overall educational process and is integrated throughout a student’s educational experience. Every student is best served by a support network that includes: parents and guardians, school staff, the community and counselors.

Our counselors are members of the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) and work in partnership with ASCA to focus on professional development, enhancing school counseling programs, and researching effective school counseling practices.
