2025 Bond Update: Groundbreaking Ceremony at Tumalo Community School

Posted Date: 06/11/26 (01:37 PM)

On the last day of school, students, staff, and board members gathered to celebrate a groundbreaking ceremony at Tumalo Community School.
Construction begins this summer as part of the 2025 Bond, bringing the school back to a K-8 campus and creating more opportunities for Tumalo students and families.
Fifth grade students took part in the ceremony because they will be the first class to return as sixth graders. Fifth grader Noah was randomly selected to help break ground, digging into the high desert soil with a golden shovel alongside school and district leaders.

We look forward to sharing construction updates throughout the summer.
