Signing day is one of those moments that reminds us why we do what we do. It's the culmination of years of early morning practices, late-night conditioning sessions, countless competitions, and unwavering commitment from these young athletes. Today, we celebrate not just their accomplishments, but the journey that brought them here. We celebrate the coaches who believed in them, the families who supported every game, and the teammates who pushed them to be better. These eight signees have earned their place on the next level, and they're ready to write the next chapter of their stories. As we send them off to their new schools, we're filled with pride knowing they carry Ridgeview's spirit with them. This is just the beginning.

Choosing a college is about more than just the sport. Each of these eight athletes had to weigh academics, location, campus culture, and coaching staff to find the school that felt like home. Some were drawn to the development and facilities their new programs could offer. Others prioritized proximity to family or the chance to study a specific major alongside their athletic pursuits. A few were simply captivated by the people they'd met and the community they'd be joining. Whatever the reasons, each signee found a place where they can grow both as an athlete and as a student.

Danner Frost is heading to Western Oregon to study mathematics and play football. For Frost, the choice was about balancing athletics with financial support. "I chose Western Oregon because it is a great fit for me to compete at a high level while earning money to help pay for my tuition," he said. He credited his coaches, family, and teammates for getting him here.

Teegan Lindsey is taking his talents to Clarke University in Iowa to bowl and study business administration. Lindsey said. "I chose this school because of the people and opportunities! The coaches Brooke and Brody are giving me an amazing opportunity and are such good people!"

Ryden Nakamura will head to Iowa Western Community College to play baseball and study exercise science. "I would like to thank my mom for always being by my side and supporting me through everything, as well as my siblings who always pushed me to be the best I could be. I would also like to thank my grandparents for being at every event they could make to cheer me on," Nakamura said.

Alex Deuser fell in love with Pacific University, and it wasn't just about playing football. "Pacific seemed unique to me with its community and campus. It's definitely the nicest looking campus I've been to and I can't forget to mention their football facilities. I can't wait to be on the only jumbotron in the entire division," Deuser said with excitement. He expressed deep gratitude for his parents and his linebacker coach Haynie.

Addison Cummings committed to Edmonds Community College to play volleyball while pursuing his dream of becoming a nurse. "I choose this school because it's a place where I can play volleyball along with pursuing what I want to do in the future, which is nursing. It's a beautiful campus with some amazing people," Cummings said. He gave special thanks to his parents for making his dreams possible and to coach Heidi, who he called "a second mom to me."

Gage Hobbs is taking his talents to College of the Redwoods to study kinesiology and play football. "I chose College of the Redwoods for the development I will receive, as well as the facilities," Hobbs explained. He thanked his family and coaches, particularly Coach Pileggi for his four years of support.

Logan Lee also committed to College of the Redwoods, where he'll study chemistry and play football. "I chose Redwoods for the opportunity to develop and the proximity to home," Lee said simply. He recognized his family and coaches AK and Pileggi for their support.

Jack Taylor signed with the University of Portland to compete in track while pursuing a degree in sports business. "I chose University Of Portland because the education is good and the location is nice," Taylor said.

One thing stood out across all eight signees: gratitude. Whether thanking parents who never missed a game, coaches who invested years in their development, or siblings who pushed them to be better, these athletes understand they didn't get here alone. Ridgeview is proud to send these eight out into the world, and we can't wait to see what they accomplish next.
