Bond Update: High School Turf Field and Track Replacements

Posted Date: 03/24/26 (12:48 PM)

Both Redmond and Ridgeview High Schools recently completed turf field and track replacements — projects made possible through community support of our bond efforts. Together, these new turf fields will save an estimated 7.5 million gallons of water each year. A shock-absorbing pad called an e-layer was added beneath the turf to improve safety for all athletes, and CoolPlay infill was added to help keep the surface 30–35 degrees cooler than normal. Our student-athletes also had input on the design, helping create fields they’re proud to play on. We’re excited to see these projects complete and in use. Thank you to the Redmond community for your ongoing support!
