Thank you for dedicating your time to Redmond School District!
To protect the safety and welfare of children, a criminal background record check is completed for all employees and volunteers.
To ensure the safety of our students and team members, we also conduct background checks every year on all school volunteers who work directly with students.
Board Policy KK Visitors to District Facilities and Board Policy IICC Volunteers provide specific guidance.
Please note this application is for parents and community members only. RSD staff members are not required to complete the application as background records are screened prior to employment.
*The background screening process has recently been updated. Volunteers will be asked to complete two additional steps in the application as we work to create the safest environment possible for all schools.
Volunteers will be asked to scan a QR Code on the website. Additionally, volunteer applicants will be asked to scan their identification and take/upload a picture of yourself. Both of these additional steps can be completed using a cell phone camera. Simply go into your camera application on your smartphone and face the camera at the code shape until you see the URL/link appear on the camera screen. At that time you can click the URL/link to proceed.

Please be advised that all communications regarding the status of your clearance will be sent directly to you via email from Bchex. The Redmond School District will not be providing any updates on your clearance progress.
